Spring is here!

There have been many places that I have traveled over these Winter months where the arrival of Spring is not a real big deal. In Minnesota, however, the arrival of Spring is right up there with the discovery of a miracle cure. I can’t say that I am that excited, but I am welcoming the arrival of spring days, and new life.

As Spring is ushered in so are a few new developments for me and my music. As many of you know, I have been working on completing my third album. This album is being co-produced by Ben Harper. I was able to record the entire album in the same studio in which Ben recorded his Grammy Award Winning Album “Get Up” in which one of the songs is dedicated to my brother Nicholas. It was surreal to be in the studio while Ben played his steel guitar to a few of my songs that will be included on the album. It brought me back to the time when I opened for him during one of his tours. I was back stage watching him perform “Waiting on an Angel”, which was one of the first songs I ever heard him play, and I was struck by the beauty of God’s divine providence.

I just arrived home from California today and I am happy to announce the Third Album is finished!! I am making plans to tour very soon. Watch for updates via email and my website I am so looking forward to sharing this new music with all of you.

Along with the excitement of completing my third CD, I am honored to be invited to perform for the Celebration of the Canonization of Blessed John Paul II in Washington DC on April 26. Pope John Paul II has been a tremendous inspiration to me and to millions around the world and I am so humbled to be asked to play at such an amazing event.

The Winter has past, Spring has arrived and I am filled with gratitude for all that God has done and continues to do in my life.
