Summer Wrap Up

I can feel fall creeping in, and before summer is officially over, I want to share about our many adventures since I last checked in.

We made it to California in July and were so grateful to plug into a few events including time spent with the Catholic Fellows and the vibrant young adult group at St. Brigid’s Parish in San Diego. It is very inspiring and encouraging to play for peers. We even had a chance to play for some young adults in Las Vegas; I was really hoping Celine Dion would have opened for me, but I guess she had another commitment!

The providence of God never seizes to surprise me. We played for several amazing young adult events in Denver and were nearly convinced to move out there. Also, the Catholic News Agency and the Archdiocese of Denver reached out to us and both hosted me for an interview and filmed a couple in-studio live songs! It was truly a gift and such an encouragement! Check out the link to the CNA interview and my updated Youtube channel with the live sessions. YouTube Channel    Catholic News Agency Interview

To wrap up our tour we drove out to the Maroon Bells, southwest of Aspen. Give Elizabeth some mountains and me a fishing pole and we are both more than satisfied- even the rain couldn’t stop us!

We barely got home before we flew out to New York to lead worship music for a Polish Pilgrimage to Our Lady of Czestochowa. The pilgrimage covered sixty miles in four days ending in Doylestown, PA. Nothing is glamorous about a slow long walk, but the experience takes you out of routine and gives you little choice but to reflect, pray, sing and talk with people of all ages and backgrounds. As we made our way up the final hill, people greeted us with cheering and singing and it was Just of Taste of walking into the gates of heaven! Although physically exhausted by the end, we were spiritually refreshed.

So many people have been amazed at Elizabeth’s strength, support and willingness to take part in everything throughout this tour. Now that she is pregnant, people are even more amazed. Everyone is seeing just
a glimpse of what I am honored to see every day! The polish families were very excited about the coming baby and they each insisted we WILL be having a baby boy. One woman asked me if I knew if Elizabeth and I were having a boy or a girl. I said that we were waiting to be surprised. The woman said, “Well I know what you’re having.” I asked her “What is it?” She said, “I thought you wanted to wait!” She was quite confident and told us it was a boy. Just a few more weeks and we will see!

As always we will do our best to keep you posted and are so very grateful for all of your support and prayers. We look forward to seeing you out at a show or two!

All my best,
